Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using UAV Zones (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated.

Planning Tool Only

UAV Zones provides informational planning and record-keeping tools for drone operations. It does not control aircraft, provide legal advice, or guarantee operational safety, legality, completeness, or accuracy.

No Flight Authorization

UAV Zones is not currently an FAA-approved LAANC provider. Mission plans, map overlays, weather indicators, and other outputs are not flight authorizations.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all flight and mission decisions, including:

Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and airspace requirements.

Registration, certification, waivers, and required authorizations through approved channels.

Aircraft airworthiness, site permissions, weather assessment, and safe operation before and during each flight.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent, or harmful activities.

Upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service or connected systems.

Submit false or misleading operational records where accuracy is required.

Content and Data

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

Third-Party Services

The Service may depend on third-party providers (for example mapping, weather, geocoding, hosting, storage, or authentication). Availability and accuracy of third-party outputs are outside our control.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UAV Zones and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UAV Zones from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk to users or systems, or where required by law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
